While the world has been battling COVID-19, we have been hard at work readying for Esmé’s debut, and the safety of our guests and staff has always been top of mind. Here is the scoop on what we are doing to ensure that when our doors open, guests can rest easy at Esmé.
First things first: all public spaces and drinking & eating venues will be open and ready to be enjoyed. We will ask all guests to remain mindful of standard social distancing measures and to wear masks when not seated. We will also display discreet reminders to revel from a safe distance, with signs throughout the property. Additionally, we will have hand sanitizer and masks available should guests need them.
In addition, our team is equipped with electrostatic fog machines which are used to disinfect the entire property, including guest rooms between stays, paying extra close attention to high-touch areas. We are also proud to use all-natural, sustainable, biotechnologically developed cleaning products that can be safely used in any environment, from kitchens to operating rooms. You will not find any harsh chemicals at Esmé and we strive to reduce our environmental footprint while we’re at it.
Behind the scenes, we are paying close attention to the CDC, WHO, and local government guidelines, taking steps to ensure that our team is in top shape before serving guests and spending time with one another. Daily temperature checks and symptom surveys will be conducted for all staff. Guests will also be asked to abide by similar self-screening protocols about current symptoms and recent exposure to COVID-19 prior to arriving and during their stay.
A few extra notes:
-All rooms are disinfected with an electrostatic fog machine between occupancy, with extra attention paid to high touch surfaces.
-Hand sanitizer is always available; our front desk will deliver to guest rooms upon request.
-Daily housekeeping service is provided upon request; cleaning will be scheduled while guests are out and about.
-Minibars are restocked upon departure or request.
-In-room information and menus are available digitally via the in-room bedside tablet, which is sanitized thoroughly.
-All front and back of house staff are required to wear face masks.
-Room service can be delivered to guest rooms with no physical contact and collected in the same way.
-Elevators are limited to one guest, couple, or family at a time.
