What is the closest airport?

Miami International Airport (MIA) is only 10.7 miles away, usually a 20- to 25-minute drive. Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) is also an option at 30.3 miles away, usually a 40- to 50-minute drive.


Is Esmé on the beach?

Esmé is located on historic Española Way and is a quick 5-minute walk to the sand.  


Can my dog stay at Esme?

We happily welcome dogs up to 30 lbs at no additional charge, and will supply beds and bowls for them to use during their stay.  Please note that dogs cannot be left in rooms unattended, and that they must be accompanied by their human owners at all times.  


Is parking available?

Valet parking is available from either our main entrance on Washington Ave or on Drexel Ave, in front of Casa Matanza.  The cost is $45/day for a car and $55/day for an SUV.  Street parking is also sometimes available using the city’s ParkMobile app.


What time is check-in?  And check-out?

Check-in begins at 3pm and check-out is at 12pm.  


Do you offer rollaway beds or cribs?

While we don’t offer rollaway beds, we will happily provide a foldable, travel crib upon request.  Travel cribs are only available in our Deluxe rooms or Suites.


Do you have accessible rooms?

We offer two accessible room types – our Accessible Matanza King and Accessible Village King.  For more specifics, check out our Accessibility page.


Do you have WiFi?

Yes, WiFi is complimentary throughout the hotel.  Simply log-in using your last name and email address.


Is there Room Service?

Yes, our menu is available on your bedside tablet, where you’ll also find our Virtual Mini-Bar offerings.  Both options can be ordered directly from your bedside tablet.  


Is there a pool at Esme?

Yes, absolutely!  Our pool is located on the third floor and is available exclusively to hotel guests until 3pm daily.  


Is there a minimum age to check-in?

Yes, guests must be 21 years or older to check-in and will be required to present a valid photo ID, in addition to their method of payment.


Do you have connecting rooms?

Yes, we have a limited number of connecting rooms available.  Each set includes one Matanza King and one Matanza King Deluxe.


How can I send flowers/Champagne/food to a guest?

Our Front Desk team can happily help you to arrange a special amenity for one of our guests.  Please contact for available options.


What is the hotel’s COVID-19 policy?

The safety and well-being of our guests and staff is our top priority. We closely monitor the CDC and World Health Organization for statements and direction regarding COVID-19 cases and follow guidelines and protocols accordingly.
